Once your Magnet is published, you’ll need to take the steps to make it publicly accessible to your customers. This walkthrough will teach you how to launch your Magnet, whether it’s free or paid.

Draft a release just like you would any other. For instructions on how to do this, reference the “Launching A Magnet” article.

Review the release details on the dashboard. If you want to make any changes, click the three dots in the “Actions” column and choose “Edit Release”. Make any changes to the fields and save another draft.

Now we will make this release a "Private Release". Click the same three dots in the “Actions” column and select “Private Release”.

If you are ready to launch, click the same three dots in the “Actions” column and select “Publish Release”. You’ll be prompted to confirm one last time. Once done, you’re launched!

The first time you go to launch a Magnet, you will be prompted to connect your Stripe account. This account will collect any money earned from the sale of Magnets from your brand. You will be redirected to the Stripe portal to enter your credentials.

Once your Stripe is connected, click the “Schedule Release” button. You’ll be prompted to fill some information about your release:

• Start Date - When will this release begin?
• End Date - When will it end. Toggling the “No End Date” button removes this field
• Supply - How many Magnets are available in this launch?
• Sale Price - Do you want to charge? If not just leave at $0.

When you’re done, click “Save Draft”.

Review the release details on the dashboard. If you want to make any changes, click the three dots in the “Actions” column and choose “Edit Release”. Make any changes to the fields and save another draft.

If you are ready to launch, click the same three dots in the “Actions” column and select “Publish Release”. You’ll be prompted to confirm one last time. Once done, you’re launched!

To prematurely end your release before the set end date, navigate back to the “Releases” tab. Find the release you are looking to end and hit the three dots in the “Actions” column. From there, click “End Release” and confirm.

You can only have one release active at a time. This does not prevent you from having multiple scheduled start dates.

For example, you may want to provide an early bird discount for the first 100 people who join your experience that lasts for 3 days. After, you want the rest of the Magnets to come available at a different price.

You can schedule both of these at the same time as long as they are not open for overlapping time periods.
